Han Law was created to be a disruptor to the legal industry. After becoming disillusioned by the traditional law firm mentality (and witnessing too many colleagues either leave the profession or ‘burn out’) our Founder chose to adopt a new business model.
By building a culture that removed the outdated notions of billable hours, targets, presenteeism, and office politics, she was convinced that this would appeal to like-minded clients, and it did.
Each of our consultants can choose the type of work they want to take on, which means that they are fully invested in their clients and will present them with the best options - rather than the most lucrative. This approach has renewed our consultant’s passion for what they do, and it has resulted in an outstanding recent track record of success for our clients.
Although employment law tends to be ‘recession proof’, during the pandemic, budgets for legal support were understandably cut. Adapting to the situation, the way we priced our services was by offering ad hoc support with no contractual term. This resulted in us winning business from other large HR consultancies who tie in by contract-length, and from large law firms who have expensive overheads to maintain.
